If you notice any holes or inconsistencies on the shower wall or floor use a paintbrush to fill these areas in with redgard. Designed for interior and exterior use. You can apply redgard to concrete cement backerboard exterior grade plywood and exterior decks.

Redgard waterproofing and crack prevention membrane prevents cracks in tile and stone floors due to surface movement. Using redgard under floor and wall tile will create a barrier that will be undisturbed after the tile is installed and grouted. However if you live in a particularly cold or warm environment with high humidity levels expect drying to take upwards of 12 or more hours.
